In my weekly book wrap-up, I share with you the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway or got approved for a reviewer´s copy, got an ARC, or just bought a new one. And I will tell you a bit about how and why I added them to my shelves and why I wanted them in the first place. Weekly Book Wrap-Up is a combination where I link up with Tynga at Tynga´s Reviews and Kimberly the Caffeinated Book Reviewer. The rest will stay the same, don´t worry. I´ll keep you posted on what is going on with my bookshelves and the little stories about them.

Stacking The Shelves #46

A meme that is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Bought Books

A Darker Shade Of Magic  Till Death

 Half-Blood  Apollyon  Sentinel

Don´t Look Back   The Girl On The Train

Sunday Post #3

is a weekly meme where I share with you what happened off the blog, what I could read during the past week, and where I will share the news that is coming up on Gone With The Books (now Inkvotary) for the week ahead if I can. I am not much of a planning blogger and mostly write and post my things on a day to day basis, so be patient with me here *smile*

The past week has been a weird one. I am totally out of my usual pulse, my routine is I don´t know where but not here, and therefore I am not reading as much as I usually do.

The weather around here is crazy. Right now, during I am typing this post, a storm howls around the house and you can´t barely see something because of all the Sahara Sand that is coming with the wind. Usually, around this time of year, we have a cold to icy weather, snow, and here and there some snowdrops peeking out of the soil. Not this year. It is way too warm, snowdrops are almost everywhere in full bloom and I also spotted some crocus and daffodil coming out. And I bet in a few weeks we are getting such a cold air again that all the beautiful spring flowers will be gone again.

The good thing, I was able to make some really great book deals, and as you can see I developed a passion for Jennifer L. Armentrout and her books. I just couldn´t resist and bought some of her Covenant Series books and a standalone and am really hoping that I will soon find the time to start reading them.

What is it with this author that I am all of a sudden so hooked by her work?

Despite that, I got Illuminae which was kind of a spontaneous book purchase since I never actually planned on reading it. And after one look inside I am not really sure if I will ever read it, but who knows? The Paula Hawkins book I have already read and you can read my review about it here. I wasn´t impressed by it as the rest of the world seems to be, but I could get it too for a very, very low price compared to the fact that it is a hardcover and so I thought why not. And since V. E. Schwab and I share the same Initials (at least the first two) and I am really hooked by that cover, I also got A Darker Shade of Magic.

I read & currently read

 Legacy Of Kings  Saving Mercy

Again not as many books as I would have liked to read but somehow my brain isn´t in for reading that much at the moment.

Happy reading

  3. JLA is amazing! I've not read any of her Covenant books but I've pretty much read everything else. I loved the Lux series, Don't Look Back, and Till Death especially. Till Death might be my favorite of hers. :D I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

Thanks for visiting my blog! Have a wonderful week, Vi. =)

  5. Illuminae is certainly interesting, mainly due to the format, but it's a pretty good read. And the girl on the Train I thought was just okay, although I did watch the movie the other night. I wanted to see how they did with the film version. Glad you're enjoying Jennifer Armentrout- I've never read any of her books yet.

The weather has been pretty wacky.

    1. Hi Greg,
oh yes the weather, tell me about it! We´ve got March and it feels like April. Now that you´re the third person that tells me how interesting Illuminae is I really guess I have to read it :-) Thanks for stopping by.
