is a weekly event that was originally hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This meme is a place that spotlights upcoming releases that we´re eagerly anticipating with pure joy.

There are a lot of new books coming out each year and some of them catch my attention and will get a spotlight in my Waiting on Wednesday post. While some of them will finally end up here at my place, others won´t. I am joining Tressa at Wishful Endings and her meme Can´t-Wait Wednesday.

I am a Sarah J. Maas fan for many years. I was listening to the audiobook of the first book of this series at first. Then I switched to the hardcover and continued reading the story of ACOTAR. Now, my shelf contains No. 2 and 3 as well (not read yet) and it seems that I´ll have some binge-reading ahead of me *smile*

But still, I am looking forward to this new one, though I am a bit torn back and forth on this cover. I like it, yes, but I am not as thrilled as I was when I saw the first three for the first time. Maybe that´ll change when I see it live in my hands ...

Feyre, Rhys, and their close-knit circle of friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly-changed world beyond. But Winter Solstice is finally near, and with it, a hard-earned reprieve. Yet even the festive atmosphere can´t keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, she finds that those dearest to her have more wounds than she anticipated – scars that will have far-reaching impact on the future of their Court.

And what are you waiting for? Let me know your thoughts about this one or leave me the link to your WoW and I check it out.

Happy reading & waiting on

  5. Well, that cover does have the whole 'back of woman' thing. Don't know why that type image became popular. Anyway, if it's a favorite author, it's all good, right?

    1. Well, I can´t tell why I am not all over the moon with that cover. Maybe because the other two are showing Feyre from the front? I don´t know. But this one is pretty, too, not going to deny that *smile* Thanks for your visit.
