In my weekly book wrap-up, I share with you the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway or got approved for a reviewer´s copy or just bought a new one. And I will tell you a bit about the how and why I added them to my shelves and why I wanted them in the first place. And of course, I link up this meme again with the two other suspects that are hosting each of them *smile*. So Tynga´s Reviews and Bought, Borrowed & Bagged are still on board here at Gone With The Books.

Stacking The Shelves #41

Stacking The Shelves #41 is hosted by Tynga´s Reviews. A meme that is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical stores or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts, and of course ebooks!

Bought, Borrowed & Bagged #25 in homage of Barron´s Books & Baubles from Karen Marie Moning´s smash hit series, Fever, hosted by Braine at Talk Supe.

The past week I thought I turn nuts. Two book orders are still hanging in the air because the shop where I ordered them can´t get them, though they are in stock at the US shop of the same company and I have to fight to keep those orders up to and ready to be delivered someday in the future.  Another book was delivered and after I had opened it I saw that it had some very bad broken pages and reported that. The replacement was broken too and now I have to wait for the second replacement and HOPE that, that will be finally ok. Otherwise, I would have to wait some time before they get it in stock again. It is FRUSTRATING!

But on the other hand, I am doing a happy dance because I finally was able to get the first book of the Throne of Glass series (You can read my review of Throne of Glass here). Now I have all the original books at home as hardcover and can stop getting the German editions. Since the German publisher decided to publish the rest of the ToG series only in paperback – they started the first two books as hardcover – I thought about it and decided I´ll stick with the hardcover. So now I am up to date and can start reading the rest of them *smile*

I already have the US edition of A Torch Against The Night at home since I could get it for a very good price some weeks back. Now I can add the German edition to my shelves. Both covers look beautiful and I am looking forward to reading it.

  2. Man, I hope you get your books! If you order it, they're yours! *shakes fist* Interesting cover of Elias & Laia! Is that the German edition of book one, or book two? I'm excited for book three (years from now, it seems). I hope you enjoy all of your new books!

Have a fabulous weekend, Vi. =)

    1. Hi Alyssa, left side of the two Sabaa Tahir books shows the US original, right side the German edition of it. It´s the same book :-) Guess I should mark it better next time *laugh*
