Launched by Sonja of A Bookshelf Full Of Sunshine, continued by FiktiveWelten with a new logo. The blog action is for lively communication between bloggers, a good network, and should be fun. Duration of the question: Friday to Thursday. Rules. No registration required. This week the FF wants to know what (audio) book I read first this year or listened to it. Well, to be honest, I am doing both. Or did. I just finished a printed book AND I am listening for many weeks to an audiobook which I will finish soon.

But don´t think the print or the audio would be bad because it took me so long to read it and because I am still listening to the audio.

No, not at all.

It is just that I didn´t have the time to read as much as I usually do. And during December and the first eleven days of 2018, I had tons of other things to do and to deal with; so reading time was very limited.

The good news is, I just finished One Dark Throne by Kendare Blake before I read the question for today´s FF and am still listening to Royally Screwed by Emma Chase.

Both books are one hell of great entertainment, each of them in their own ways and style and I am smiling like crazy while listening to the royal audio. I guess one of my next reviews will be about Kendare Blakes´ three murderous queens …

How is it about you?

Happy reading & listening

  1. I've started listening to audiobooks, too, but they take me a long time to get through because I only listen to them in the car, to and from work.

    1. Same here. It takes me an awful lot of time to listen to them *smile* and I can only do that while I am running in the wood or running some errands... Thanks for visiting.

  2. Haven't read (or listened to) those two yet :) I'm currently listening to Black Elk Speaks, a nonfiction book, an actual narration by a Native American at the start of the 20th century. Really interesting.
