With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews / Reading Reality and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #66

I was a good girl and bought only two books. The rest of my new arrivals are all reviewer copies. So, thanks to Fischer Tor, Fischer KJB, Lübbe, and A Tree & A Valley for sending me the titles you can see below.

Sunday Post #23

The past few days I was in a book-related roller coaster. First, I got the information, that some of my email answers from early May had been received, but hadn´t been read by the one who´d send me the email at first and to which I was responding to.
Meaning for me: she hadn´t made the book reservations in the system, and now the entire press contingent is gone. Means for me: I am not getting them unless I buy them myself. I don´t have a problem buying the books I had shown my interest in my email answers. That´s not the point. But I do have a problem when someone tries to tell me bullshit for an answer. Tell me the truth, and we are good. But don´t make up a story as an excuse for something you screwed up because you didn´t do your job right.

A couple of days later, I wrote an email to the same person, asking for a book I had on my list for months. I was curious to see what´ll happen and thought, if no book arrives, I don´t mind and buy it myself.  You can imagine my joy when I unpacked all the packages and saw, that the requested one was among them!

  1. Great haul! Gemina was pretty good, but I didn't enjoy it as much as Illuminae.

    1. I still have that trilogy ahead of me. But I´ve heard so many great things about it, that I simply had to have it. And since I loved Nevernight by Jay Kristoff, I guess I am on the good side here *smile* Thanks for stopping by.

  2. Ooh Gemina- I loved that one! My favorite of the Illuminae series. A stranger in the House looks rather chilling too, I'll have to check that one out. :)

Glad you got the the book you really wanted in the bookmail! Have a great week.

    1. I devour Children of Blood and Bone at the moment and LOVE IT. Planning on getting the audiobooks for Illuminae, Gemina and Obsidio soon, so I can listen to it while running and reading at home while being lazy *lol* Thanks for your visit.
