is a weekly event that was originally hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This meme is a place that spotlights upcoming releases that we´re eagerly anticipating with pure joy.

There are a lot of new books coming out each year and some of them catch my attention and will get a spotlight in my Waiting on Wednesday post. While some of them will finally end up here at my place, others won´t. I am joining Tressa at Wishful Endings and her meme Can´t-Wait Wednesday.

With part one and two at home and already read, I am only missing book three so far. It might sound crazy, but I am not sure if I will be able to get and read the missing one before this one comes out. I have the feeling that I am running out of time when it comes to reading all the books, I have on my new release schedule for this year. And with the fact in mind, that I changed my reading pace from fast to very slow the past months´, I am not sure how to feel about this one. But on the other hand, I like to wrap up a series, trilogy or saga if I can. So, yes, I am looking forward to the publishing date of Palace of Blood. Does that make sense at all?

The fight for the English throne has flared up. When the entrusted king gives the order to hunt down his own son, the queen resorts to extremes: she has her husband murdered and plans to rule for himself instead of the elusive crown prince. Robin, on the other hand, wants nothing more than to be at peace with the love of his life. With Rea, the dreaded Magdalena. With Rea, the future queen. With Rea, who is allowed to be free for the first time in her life. But on the day of her marriage Rea falls victim to a terrible attack – and the glass palace turns into a place of terror, betrayal, and blood. (personal translated by ©Vi at Inkvotary).

    1. I translated only the summary of the German edition for this post. Due to the GDPR I have to make it clear when I translate an already existing summary or text. To avoid any misunderstanding. That is why I wrote the "personal translated"-note in brackets under it. The novel itself was translated by a woman called Charlotte Lungstrass-Kapfer.

  4. That totally makes sense! It's hard to get to all the books, for sure. This one sounds great though, it's new to me but it definitely sounds like a good series!

    1. I hope it will turn into a great series. The first two books were a nice read but had definitely some space too. Thanks for your visit.
