I´ve read this book as part of the HoHoHo Readathon Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer is hosting again. A great opportunity to get another book off of my TBR. And to have some Christmas fun before the actual Christmas is here. And to read something new about Cassie and Ethan was fantastic. I never laughed so many tears while reading some kitchen scenes with them. How Ethan tried to keep Cassie away from the kitchen – gorgeous!

Have Yourself A Sexy Little Christmas: An Ethan and Cassie Novella. Ethan and Cassie´s first Christmas with the Holt family should be nothing but jolly. Sure, Cassie´s a mess trying to impress her future in-laws with the perfect casserole, but when an unexpected blast from Ethan´s past shows up beneath the tree, the season gets a whole lot more serious – and sexy.
The Naughty List: A Liam and Elissa Novella. After being apart for months, Liam and Elissa are making up for lost time on a secluded island, where they think they´re free to explore each other´s bodies in peace. But when it turns out their Christmas sanctuary isn´t as deserted as it first seemed, their Christmas dreams turn into a nightmare.
Happy, Horny New Year: A Josh and Angel Novella. When the gang from the Grove gets together at a lavish New Year´s Eve party, it´s like no time has passed. Except Elissa and Josh are dating Hollywood royalty, Jack and Zoe have been hooking up in secret, Connor´s new girlfriend wants to murder Cassie, and Erika´s mystery man has everyone talking. Before midnight, shocking revelations are made, industry tongues are wagging, and the poor mistletoe is ready to pass out from overuse.
Story
Being together with Ethan´s family for Christmas puts some pressure on Cassie. She has some great abilities but cooking isn´t one of them. So when the big evening arrives, Ethan is either to tell his family or to keep his mouth shut and see how things go. Elissa knows exactly what she wants. But when it comes to some delicate lingerie, she is helpless as one can be. The only person that could help her, her brother Ethan, isn´t interested at all in going shopping with her at La Perla. Meanwhile, Josh has some problems of his own. He isn´t looking or feeling as attractive as Angel´s co-star and together with his jealousy that is no good combination. And when a sexy Uhura is showing up at the New Year´s Eve party, he feels guilty and attracted at the same time.

Style
It was one hilarious fun reading, that I can assure you. Good, I wouldn´t have needed the third part where Josh and Angel were the main figures but okay, you can´t have everything, can you? And as long, as I´ve got the sexy, hot, steamy, fun, and passionate story Leisa Rayven knows perfectly well to create, I am happy and satisfied. While reading through some pages, I was laughing tears, during others I was shaking my head in disbelief and while reading through the last third I was wondering if that was a Christmas story at all.

Characters
It was wonderful to see Cassie again and her cooking ability. I wish I could have seen Ethan´s face when he was trying what she served him. Hilarious. And Elissa with all the lingerie? I would have thrown all of it into that employee´s face if she would have treated me the way she treated Elissa. That was a no-go!

I am glad, that the author hasn´t changed her characters for this Anthology. That she kept them the way they have been in the other books. In all their glory and with all their problems and mistakes. You can see that they´ve learned from the past and that around Christmas nothing is really perfect.

Conclusion
If you are in for a winterly Christmas story with lots of snow, ice, and decorating a huge Christmas tree while nipping on your eggnog, you are wrong. This Christmas Anthology is all about passion, jealousy, missing someone dear, and how to better not cook a Christmas meal. I enjoyed every minute reading it though I would have wished that the story about Cassie and Ethan would have been longer. And that I finally got an answer to Erika´s big secret was a plus. If you´re in for some holiday fun and hot scenes, this is definitely your book.

Happy reading

  2. I remember reading Bad Romeo years ago and loving it! But I never did read Broken Juliet or the third book. I need to go back to the beginning and read them all at somepoint! Then read this one. ;)

    1. I read Broken Romeo & Broken Juliet but life is so crazy right now, there is barely time to get an old review ready for my blog.
