Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week the theme is my Most anticipated Book Releases of the First Half of 2020.

I have NO idea how the books below will be when it comes to reading the story, the plot or how the author has managed to get the idea in general into a printed book. But what I know is that I have them on my reading list already, that they will be published in Germany during the first half of 2020 and that I´ve placed a request to read and review them on my blog *fingers crossed*

Some of them, if not all, I will display in my Waiting on Wednesday post within the next few months. I show you the German edition on the left side, the English edition on the right side (if I have a suitable cover).

A ruthless young assassin´s journey for revenge comes to a stunning end in the conclusion of this acclaimed epic fantasy trilogy. The Republic of Itreya is in chaos. Mia Corvere has assassinated Cardinal Duomo and rumors of Consul Scaeva´s death ripple through the street of Godsgrave like wildfire. There, Mia will, at last, discover the origins of the darkin and learn the destiny that lies in store for her and her world. But with the three suns now in descent, and Truedark on the horizon, will she survive?

What if America had a royal family? When America won the Revolutionary War, its people offered General George Washington a crown. Two and a half centuries later, the House of Washington still sits on the throne. As Princess Beatrice gets closer to becoming America's first queen regnant, the duty she has embraced her entire life suddenly feels stifling. Nobody cares about the spare except when she's breaking the rules, so Princess Samantha doesn't care much about anything, either . . . except the one boy who is distinctly off-limits to her. And then there's Samantha's twin, Prince Jefferson. If he'd been born a generation earlier, he would have stood first in line for the throne, but the new laws of succession make him third. Most of America adores their devastatingly handsome prince . . . but two very different girls are vying to capture his heart.
