With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #102

I had Vortex by Fischer KJB in the mail. Thank you, I wasn´t sure if I would get it.

Sunday Post #59

My plans, to be done by now with all the cleaning, sorting out, and getting the necessary material for my renovation plans is far from being a success. My apartment still looks like an explosion has hit the building and although I know what color I want where (at least at the moment) and where to begin with the renovation, I can´t make myself go and buy everything I need. Not to mention moving furniture and other equipment around to make space and be able to take down the old wallpaper and get up the new one. I could use a wand now!

The positive thing is, all my review requests I´ve made during the past months got accepted. Meaning I will have no shortage of books to read and review for the next few months. In fact, April could become the busiest month for me according to the new release dates I found in the email I received a few days ago. Yep, be careful what you wish for *lol*

How was your week?

Happy reading

  1. Congratulations on having been approved for all the book requests you made - I think! I've stopped over-requesting now, and only actually ask for the ones I really, really want so I don't get swamped. I'm wondering whether the depths of February is the right time to be considering such a major renovation... It's miserable painting with radiators/heating turned off and having to open windows to get rid of heat fumes in the winter - and so much more fun in the summer! And you have all those books to read...

    1. Some publishers in Germany ask you to mail them a list with all the titles you want to read and review from their new spring or winter program months in advance *smile* So, I can assure you I didn´t over-request and usually I do not get swamped. But when they reschedule a publication date for a new release it can happen that I get more books than usually planned.

  3. If you find a wand to help take care of all that stuff can you send it my way when you're finished? I have a never ending list of things needing done that I'm now studiously avoiding because I can't be bothered with the upheaval!

Good luck wading through the April review books! Too many review books in one month freaks me out, lol. Too much pressure! :)

  4. Sometimes you just need to think about the ideas for changing awhile before you can do it. I'm just hanging photos and artwork this weekend which is 7 months after moving.

Yay for the new books! Happy reading!

    1. I am planning on taking down all the paintings and only keep one or two. The rest will be stored away after fifteen years of hanging on my walls. How different things can be.

    1. Reading - the BEST excuse we can have. Thank god the year has twelve months so I´ve got plenty of time to renovate my place...

I hope the reno doesn’t overwhelm you.

    1. It is a bit stressful to get all the things I need without a car but I guess before the year is over my doors and the floor will be done *lol*

  8. LOL, yes all the review books come in groups don't they? Just like library holds. Doesn't matter how many holds; they all come in at once. I feel you on the renovation. We need to do some things here, but I am so busy with work and then in the evening I am pooped.
