With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #136

No new books this week.

Sunday Post #93

Like many other weeks, the past one was a pretty uneventful one despite the fact that we have now again stricter rules due to the massive spike in new confirmed Covid-cases. They keep telling us that we can´t compare today's numbers with those in spring because they test way more than they did in February, March, and April. But the result is the same: no toilet paper, no noodles, and no flour. Shelves are empty-again *lol*

I managed to create some posts, but again, Blogger is making it damn near impossible to create some content. I see breaks in my posts where none should be, and today, the design is completely screwed up. Today I had planned on sending some review links to publishers – I am overdue with that – but because the design looks terrible, I can´t. It is damn frustrating!

The Fraterfest Readathon is over. I was able to read two books from the selected six. One book was a total disappointment for me, the other total fun.

Yesterday we turned the clock back, again, and we have, again, the discussion about it. No about the “if we put that time change finally to rest”, no. The discussion is all about WHAT time we should change for good. Winter or summertime. It is a never-ending game. It seems as if the men in Brussels don´t want that change at all and therefore delay a final decision time and time again.

How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.

Happy reading

  1. I hear you about Blogger and how hard it is to post something exactly the way you want to : pictures and texts seem to have a mind of their own. I have the feeling we're heading for another lockdown here in France too, so I'll be buying toilet paper tomorrow, lol ! Stay safe ;)

    1. It is sad that Blogger had to go online with a system that is not error free. Our government is discussing about stricter rules for November because of the rising numbers. But so far they refuse to call it another lockdown. Let us hope it is only stricter social distancing rules ... *fingers crossed*

  2. Cases are climbing up here again but so far no shortage of toilet paper or noodle! We'll get through this ;-)

  3. Hi there Vi! I'm one of the very few lucky ones who do not struggle with the new Blogger interface. I think I should stop saying it, maybe I'll jinx myself...!!

I also finished with the Fraterfest yesterday and managed 3 books, 2 short stories, 1 audio book and 1 graphic novel. Think I could have done better, but life was interfering!

Hope you will have a good week, here's my The Sunday Post #16

  4. Congrats on finishing 2 books for Fraterfest! I didn’t do well with it. I started 4 books, but I only finished 1. I hope you have a great week!

    1. Thank you. I somehow squeezed that second book in. It was a short one *lol* But I know what you mean. Have a great week yourself.

  5. Yes I wish they would just stop doing the time changes! Ours is next weekend. COVID cases are getting higher everywhere. I'm on a tear to finish up the yard work since later in the week it will be cooler and I plan to stay in bed and sleep for a week, or read. Many of the project are one-time so it won't be so much next year. Wishing you a lovely week!

    1. I had planned on doing more work in the garden this week. But so far it is too rainy and I am so tired... I will have to do the plant work next year and then hopefully it is done and I can enjoy my work.

  6. "Shelves are empty again" yikes! It is disheartening to think that we're in this place after all the warnings, but I guess what can you do? Things are bad here too. And Blogger is KILLING me. My last few posts (unless they're super simple ones) have been an absolute nightmare. I think it's getting WORST.

Anyway... hope you have a nice week. :)

    1. You could be right with that. I don´t know what Blogger is trying to fix at the moment because when I look at my blog via my tablet, everything looks the way it is supposed to. But on my Laptop? My homepage is a mess... Have a nice week too.
