It is time to mark my calendar for another HoHoHo Readathon hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Reviewer. My third if I counted correctly. The thon encourages all readers to read as many Christmas´ or winterly themed books as we can. And there will be fun events, contests, prizes, and other things.

My list of books for this readathon is short, at least so far. And hopefully, the Christmas mood will sweep all over me.

Ninth Annual Ho-Ho-Ho Read-A-Thon

This year, the #HoHoHoRAT will begin at 12:01 am Thursday, November 18th, and will end Monday, November 30th at 11:59 pm in your time zone.

That´s twelve days of reading with two weekends wrapped in-between!

We can choose between holiday reads, winter books, yuletide murder mysteries, naughty & nice romances, and holiday horror. Whatever your mood chooses from the mentioned counts for this Ho-Ho-Ho-Readathon. Any format counts. Audiobook, library book, eBook, old book, or new book. With or without the hot chocolate. Follow your mood and have a great time!

Readathon Rules & Guidelines
-Link-up! It is unnecessary to link to goal post but of course, Kimberly loves them. Just link to the social media platform you will be using to track your reading. It can be your blog, your Goodreads Shelf you create – labeled HoHoHo2021, or any other account. (Kimberly must be able to see it. So be sure you are friends there).

-Declare your intentions on your blog or through social media. Be sure and link back to her post #HoHoHo Readathon Sign-Up over at Caffeinated Reviewer. The linky will close November 24th, so be sure to link up even if you will only take part for a few days.

-Grab the image and share! Tell your friends, post the image and link on social media using Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Tumblr, or Instagram. Be sure to include a link to Caffeinated Reviewer, so others may join.

-Take part in at least one challenge and complete one book to be eligible for grand prize.

-Read or listen to as many Holiday or Winter themed books as you can from any genre. (Winter can be New Year’s setting, snowstorm, etc. If you are unsure contact Kimberly. Goodreads is a good source for finding Winter & Holiday reads. Ask your Librarian).

-Tweet your progress using #HoHoHoRAT

-Challenge schedule and Grand Prize widget will post on Thursday, November 18th at/by 8 am (EST).

-Read-a-thon starts on November 18th at 12:01 am (your time zone) and ends on November 30th at 11:59 pm (your time zone).

-Challenges will be open from 8 am (EST) on the 18th and stay open until Nov 30th at 11:59 pm (EST).

-Grand Prize Raffle will be open until December 1st at 11:59 pm (EST) to allow you to submit last-minute entries. You will only be able to submit two books in a twenty-four-hour period.

-All winners of challenges and the grand prize will be notified by December 3rd, 2021.
So let us see how this thon will be for me, how many books I will be able to read and how much fun I will have. Two books are already on my list for the HoHoHo and maybe a few more will be added. I will show them to you in another post when the readathon begins. So, stay tuned *smile*

Happy reading

    1. I am excited too. Snuggling up with some hot tea or espresso and a good Christmas novel is something I like very much.

    1. Thank you, Stephanie. I will probably end up having read only one book for this readathon, but I don´t mind that *smile*

Here is my link to the other Christmas challenge in case you want to check it out or see what I hope to read (if you need Christmas ideas), at the very bottom I added links to two other readers whose lists are very different from mine to add more variety! https://cindysbookcorner.blogspot.com/2021/09/top-ten-tuesday-20-books-for-christmas.html
