With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Caffeinated Reviewer and Reading Reality and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #181

Sunday Post #138

Last Sunday I visited some blogs after my usual Sunday breakfast with fruits and lots of water. Monday and Tuesday, I enjoyed some lazy days with reading, watching TV, and being in my pajamas all day long.

On Wednesday, I went out of the house to get some groceries and enjoyed the sunny weather. The air has become a lot cooler, and the weather forecast predicted some rain and freezing nights for the rest of the week. So, I made some plans for the rest of the week. I wanted to plant some spring flowers like tulips and daffodils and mow the lawn for the last time before the garden gets ready for winter. Well, didn´t quite happen.

Thursday, I had another lazy day. I wrote some more reviews, created new blog content for November and December, including a sign-up post for the audiobook challenge 2021, and went through my shelves to get the books I want to read for the Fraterfest 2021 Readathon. I enjoyed having no appointments or whatsoever all day long and it was wonderful.

Friday, I got up early, after an almost sleepless night, and went to the supermarket in the early morning hours to get me some things that were on sale. It was amazing how many people were already out and about that day. After that, I changed into my garden clothes to mow the lawn. It took me three hours to get that done. The rest of the afternoon I was so exhausted that I barely could get my household done before I went to bed very early.

On Saturday the same. I got up early, bought some food and drink for the weekend, and enjoyed the bright sunshine while walking back home. I spent the rest of the day reading and relaxing. Downloaded some covers, prepared some new blog content, finished my book, and started a new one. I read some reviews about a book I am interested in reading or listening to and tried to make a final decision on what audiobooks I will buy with the credits I have left. Decisions are not made so far. And although the sun was shining and it was perfect weather to get some bulbs into the soil, I couldn´t make myself go into the garden and work there.

And today, Sunday, I am up early again. While enjoying an early breakfast with a freshly brewed espresso. I love to put first a bit of cacao into the warm cup, then brew the fresh espresso over it and crown it with a hint of cinnamon on top. And while I had my espresso, I enjoyed watching a recorded series called Blue Bloods. It is my last day of vacation and I am definitely trying to get the most out of it before the daily routine starts Monday morning at five.

How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.

Happy reading
