With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Caffeinated Reviewer and Reading Reality and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Sunday Post #157

I am sorry that I didn´t post last Sunday. I was just too tired and so I am updating you this Sunday now with the things going on in my life. The past three weeks a clan of crows started building their nests in the chestnut trees we have across the street. We had them last year too, but with only one nest. This year I counted NINE alone across the street.

About two weeks ago, Tuesday, my key broke while stuck in the door lock when I came home and instead of spending a relaxed afternoon with some hot tea, I was trying to get my landlord on the phone while the locksmith got the broken key bit out and it soon became very clear that the entire thing was broken and had to be repaired. I lived a few days with a broken door lock and went only out of the house when I had to.

This week, on Tuesday, I cut my hair and on Wednesday the locksmith came again and repaired my door lock.

Thursday I was busy downloading some covers, creating new logos, and started reading a new book. Friday, I had the book in the mail I am reading for a reading round at the German book forum called Lovelybooks. And I took some pictures from the Crow nests around the house.

On Saturday I went into the garden to start preparing the soil for some new plantings in April/ May. I hadn´t planned to go down and do garden work myself but seeing my neighbors working in their gardens made me feel bad. And while cutting some ornamental grasses I lost the spring from my secateurs. I had no replacement with me and couldn´t find the old one, so I stopped cutting and instead went to another part of the garden to take out some weeds and the ugly-looking tufts of grass I have no clue what sort that is.

After about two hours I had enough and went back upstairs to take care of my household. Today, Sunday, we have again sunny but very cold weather and I am doing a bit of blogging stuff besides reading.

How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.

Happy reading

  2. It's still a bit too cold here, freezing some nights but I am looking forward to the spring planting. There's also the weed and feed to do for the lawn. Have a good week Vi!
