With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Caffeinated Reviewer and Reading Reality and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #228

Thanks to Blanvalet I had a new review copy in the mail. On the left is the German edition of Dear Santa by Debbie Macomber.

Sunday Post #185

My third and last week of vacation went by in a blink. I haven´t been very active on my blog. It was so warm and felt more like the last days of summer than autumn days and I thought I rather enjoy the last warm sun of the year. I collected some more chestnuts and although my autumn plate doesn´t look very decorative, I like the view of lavender from the garden combined with the dark, rich, brown color of the chestnuts on a clay plate I own now for over thirty years. How time flies …

On Wednesday I reached my Good Reads Reading Challenge goal of 24 read books.

I got my flu shot this week and after that the sniffles. Not sure if it is a result of the vaccination or just because I was walking every evening. As soon as the sun isn´t shining anymore the air turns chilly and a bit windy. Maybe that´s why my nose is a bit “running” as we call it here in Germany *smile*

The rest of the week was a bit unbalanced. I slept long, was tired during the day, and couldn´t sleep during the night. I discovered my passion for fruit drinks with added ingredients like iron and some vitamins. All sugar-free.

So, today is the last vacation day and I used it to take some Instagram pictures, write this post, and edit some pictures. I am preparing myself for the upcoming Fraterfest Readathon as well as the HoHoHo-Readathon. Just for the fun of reading a book.

And I managed to read and finish another book. My pile of unread books on my desk went down from 10 to 8. And the eight I am currently reading.

How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.

Happy reading

  1. I also got my flu shot this week and it always makes me feel run down the next day. I am finally starting to feel good and feel like I have energy today. Congratulations on reaching your reading goal! I participated in the Ho-Ho-Ho readathon last year, but will be trying to finish my reading challenges this year, so won't be participating. Have a great week!

  2. Beautiful pic! I'm thinking of doing FraterFest and HoHoHo as well, although maybe just Ho Ho because this week will be busy and not sure how much reading I'll get in.

  3. Yes... we talk about running noses here in the UK, too:)). We're also having a lovely sunny spell of weather which I'm very much appreciating before the winter closes in. Hope the sniffles ease up soon and you have a good week, Vi:).

    1. Well, it looks like it will be the only challenge this year where I reach my goal *sigh*
