The Sins That Bind Us by Geneva Lee is definitely my choice for the past month. Not only the cover is a total eye-catcher, the story as well is absolutely beautifully written. The novel contains a whole bunch of emotions and gives an incredible insight into the life of an addict. And the characters *sigh*
So this week I am not only enjoying the light breeze that I am feeling right now, and the wonderful sunshine (while it lasts) but also to share this book with you. It is really worth being read. If you like to read my review about it, you can do so here.

ReplyDeletedas Originalcover gefällt mir doch ein stückweit besser, obwohl es nur Nuancen unterschiedlich ist. Denn, um ehrlich zu sein, habe ich das Buch hier zwar vor geraumer Zeit in der Vorschau wahrgenommen, mir aber nicht angelesen, worum es dabei überhaupt geht. Da zeigt sich wieder, dass Coverkäufern (wie ich es doch größtenteils bin) durchaus gute Storys durch die Lappen gehen können ...

Hi Pat,
Deletemich hat das Originalcover auch mehr angesprochen. Das war auch das, weswegen ich den Roman wollte. Ich hab erst etwas später realisiert, dass die übersetzte Ausgabe etwas anders ausschaut - auch wenn ich trotzdem von dem Blau und Schwarz und dem so entstehenden Kontrast angetan bin *g*
