We are already in 2018 and I´d almost forgot to wrap-up the New Release Challenge I´ve done the past year.  But before I do my last post for the 2017 New Release Challenge, a post that is required to sum it up, I will give you a bit insight in my reading numbers and tell you a bit how I handle things in this challenge. After going through the excel sheet where every book I´ve read and reviewed is listed, I can say that I´ve reviewed seventy-six (76) new releases the past twelve months. Which makes me a

New Release Veteran *YAY*

Originally, I had signed up to achieve the second level and becoming a New Release Pro. I knew that I had many new releases on my list, and since I am a fast reader I thought I aim for it. Somewhen during the past year, it became clear, that I could expand that goal and go for the New Release Veteran which meant that I had to have sixty-one to one-hundred (61-100) new released book reviews published on my blog. I changed my priorities a bit, and MADE IT!

My reading contains English originals as well as German editions. Therefore it can happen that you´ll find books on my blog or in the Link-up over on Lexxie´s blog (she is hosting the challenge) at (un)Conventional Bookviews, that show the cover of the German edition that came out in 2017 though it´s English edition was already being published the previous year or earlier the same year. It depends if I got the book from a publisher or bought it myself. In my reviews, you´ll always find a "*" right beside the book title (in the book data section on the right of the cover) that leads you to the end of my review where I tell you if I read the German edition new release or not.

I have to obey some rules I can´t ignore, so, again, I only counted and used the reviews I posted here on my blog.

And here we go. A list of all the books I read & reviewed for the 2017 New Release Challenge. They are not in the order I really read and posted them, but all those books fit the rules this challenge requires. To keep things simple, I list them with their English title first, no matter if my review shows the cover of the English edition first or not.
