With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*
I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.
Stacking The Shelves #63
This week was in terms of books, a very quiet one. My book order arrived, and I got from Fischer (that is a German publisher) the offer to be a part of the promotion for Children Of Blood And Bone. Not sure if I will participate. I already own the US edition, and in the email, they didn´t explain how they wanna handle that promotion.
And my physical edition of The Ivy Years (The Year We Fell Down) by Sarina Bowen arrived. I was reading the manuscript during a reading challenge and now, as my reward, I got the softcover.

Sunday Post #20
Ha! My living room is quiet again and dark at night – the way it is supposed to be. We solved the annoying buzz the new recorder was making and now my living room is quiet again and dark at night. Woohoo.
On Friday I cleaned my balcony and the furniture. We are having summerlike weather for days and with almost 90° F I thought it is nice to sit outside while reading or writing and enjoy the sun. But then I discovered that my sunshade is broken and needs to be replaced. So, no sitting outside yet. It is way too hot with the bright sun shining down on it all day and without a bit shadow, you can´t stand it longer than five minutes. Well, at least my laundry gets dry very quick *smile*

Yay for a quiet living room! Glad that worked out. And yikes it's hot there! We're finally warming up a bit but it's still unseasonably cool. But at least the sun appears now so we don't forget it exists :)

ReplyDeleteYes to hanging laundry outside! Two things I miss about warmer weather are having the windows open and hanging laundry in the sun. 🌞,

DeleteThe cover of The Ivy Years is stunning! I hope you'll enjoy it! We had good weather last week as well, sadly I had to work and couldn't really enjoy it. Now it's back to being gray and cold.
