With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it.  And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews / Reading Reality and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #67

It feels like ages, that I´ve written my last STS post. That was last year in June. All those months I had not really something to post in this field, but with everything that has happened since then, particularly during the past two weeks, I feel like I should write one and get my shelves up to date. Or at least, partly.

Sunday Post #24

The last two weeks have been one emotional roller coaster. At first, I got scary news from one of my doctors and left the praxis with a numb feeling. I have no clue how I made it home safe, but at home, I literally broke into tears. The next day I got the news that my father had been admitted to hospital with tachycardia and water in the lungs. He is over seventy and got diagnosed with dementia a few years ago. For him, a shit-situation (his words, not mine).

He had to stay for two weeks, but I managed to be there when he was released and spent the day with him. That was Thursday. Now, we hope, that life will become normal again, or as normal as it can be with his diagnose and condition. Time will tell.

I Am Reading

Happy reading

  1. Great haul! I love the Folk of the Air series, The Wicked King was just as good as the first book of the series :) I'm also super intrigued by the book of Mary E. Pearson - the cover is beautiful!

    1. The cover alone looks great, so I hope the book itself will be great too. And the 3rd? I guess I already pre-ordered it. But not sure at the moment *smile* Thanks for your visit and comment, Kimberly.
