With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it.  And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #85

Feels like I am repeating myself: Did not by a single book the past week.

Sunda Post #42

The past week was filled with writing reviews, reading, visiting other blogs, and do some commenting back. But still, I am way behind with all the things I had planned on doing. I took part in some Blog- and Instagram-follow-trains on Twitter, ignoring the bad experiences I had made during former follow trains, only to watch that all the bad things happened to me again. Sure, I gained some new followers, but only to see my follower numbers going down again a short time later. What is the meaning of the rule “don´t follow to unfollow” when others do exactly that? It IS A JOKE. Unfortunately, I am not able to see who did the follow-unfollow-thing or I would return the favor. Why do people on Twitter and Instagram do that? I don´t get it.

I also started the Blog Ahead October Challenge and my plan for creating posts in November and December is done. Now, I only need to sit down and write all those posts *laugh*.

Over the past seven days, I was preparing myself for the Fraterfest Readathon Kimberly is hosting. And the books for the HoHoHo Readathon are already picked too.

How was your week?

Happy reading

  1. It's so annoying when that happens. To be honest, I tend not to bother to look anymore... I hope that you manage to continue to get ahead with your plans for ongoing posts. Have a good week, Vi.

    1. Yep, I should probably do that too. Good way how to handle this crap. Thanks for your visit.

  2. I should try to blog ahead more, and I do set up posts of books I know I'll be reviewing, but I'm usually just trying to stay on top of things, lol. Good luck with the Fraterfest! :)

  3. It's good you are making plans - I do better with plans. Even if I can't follow the plan exactly it means I know what I want to do when I do have a bit of time. And me, I really enjoy planning. Happy reading! Have a good week!

  4. I am not sure why people follow someone on Twitter or Instagram and then suddenly unfollow them other than to bump up their own following while not cluttering up their Twitter or Instagram feeds with unwanted posts. I think it's a tacky practice. It's very annoying, isn't it?

Yay for blogging ahead! I keep trying, but don't get very far.

I hope you have a great week, Vi!

  5. I think the only sensible strategy is to follow who you want, otherwise you can drive yourself crazy.

Wishing you a great reading week

  7. The follow to unfollow thing is so annoying. I don't understand why people do that either.
