Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week the theme is Favorite Bookmarks.

The moment I saw this topic on the TTT list for November, I knew that I wanted to do it. I have so many bookmarks but actually, use only one sort of them while reading. Don´t know why that is but most of my bookmarks are from our local bookstore (you can grab them for free while you pay the books you´ve bought 😄). The others are from around the world and I treasure them dearly.

The Sisi bookmark I bought during an Habsburg-exhibition in Stuttgart. Together with a poster that shows the entire famous portrait of her. The Talon bookmark came together with the requested hardcover edition. I don´t know anymore from where I´ve got the Harry Potter bookmark but it is one of those I don´t use. The Crystal Blade bookmark was among the swag I´ve got from Kathryn Purdie after I had bought her novel. The little puppy bookmark is, I guess, one I bought in the US. Not sure about that though. The Frozen Reign bookmark beside it is another one I´ve received among some other swag from the author after buying her novel. The seal bookmark is from the US and the Children Of Blood And Bone bookmark was part of a promotion the German publisher had arranged shortly before the book was published. Yup, the next one is a Chocolate bar bookmark and the last bookmark is from my local bookstore. Sometimes they promote books from a certain country and then you can find all kinds of motives from there on one side of the bookmark.
