is a weekly event that was originally hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This meme is a place that spotlights upcoming releases that we´re eagerly anticipating with pure joy.

There are a lot of new books coming out each year and some of them catch my attention and will get a spotlight in my Waiting on Wednesday post. While some of them will finally end up here at my place, others won´t. I am joining Tressa at Wishful Endings and her meme Can´t-Wait Wednesday.

Good, the waiting for this one is soon over, but I thought no matter how long or short we have to wait, this is one of the books I am waiting to be published. Nina Blazon is a German author, who writes in a very beautiful way and creates fantasy worlds that could be as well be set in the real world. Good, not every cover that is chosen for her books is one I would have chosen myself, but as long as I am intrigued and very well entertained, the story is all that matters.

The land over the frozen sky has been considered by Mailin to be a fairytale, nothing more. One day, when her friend Silja is allegedly abducted to the kingdom of the Winter King, the intrepid Mailin sets out on a dangerous path.  Toma of the Clan of the Elk Riders and Birgida, herself a prisoner of the Winter King, help her to sneak into his castle – but what about the enigmatic Ice Prince, whom they discover in a secret tract and they all know from their dreams?

And what are you waiting for? Let me know your thoughts about this one or leave me the link to your WoW and I check it out.

Happy reading & waiting on
