With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it.  And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #96

This week two books arrived. I made myself a Christmas present with Christi Daugherty´s A Beautiful Corpse and Never Let Me Fall by Abbie Roads.

Sunday Post #53

Only two nights until Christmas and I can say that too much has happened over the past week. One of the happier things: My wall is fixed, and I can use my kitchen again. Yay! Good, my cabinets and the light are still down, and I will have to wait until the wall is dry enough to get them back in place. But I guess between the years I can put them back up and get everything back where it belongs. I am in no festive mood so far, with all the cleaning and vacuuming and sorting out. My spring clean is either early done or a very late one – depends on how you see it 😄. But I see the new wall as an early Christmas present and am very happy about it. The last week was a very exhausting one and all the chaos had its impact on my mood too.

I had planned to be with my dad on his birthday on Thursday, but my stepmom knew what to do to prevent that. Her behavior lately is no fun and it is not easy for me to deal with it. So, instead of being with my dad on his big day, I ran some errands, went grocery shopping and had a date with a needle: I finally got my flu shot. To be honest, I am more than happy when this year is finally over.

On the book side, I started one of two left new releases I received from a publisher. The deadline is very close, but I am confident that I will read and review them before the year is over.

How was your week?

Happy reading

  1. I am sorry you couldn't be with your father on his birthday - that's miserable:). But delighted to hear that your wall is FINALLY in place - I know that last week you weren't sure they'd be able to do it.

I hope you have a lovely Christmas, Vi - and that you manage to relax a bit and tuck into an enjoyable book during the holiday season...

    1. I was absolutely surprised that the wall was done in time. And it was fascinating to watch the mason repair it.
