With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it.  And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #116

I won a giveaway over on Twitter. And thanks to Cyra @Rattle The Pages I had the "The Bone Witch Trilogy" in my mailbox this week. Wooohooo! I am super happy, grateful, and still cannot believe it that she was willing to spend a lot of money on them.

Sunday Post #73

We had a dramatic temperature drop from 26C to 4C at the beginning of the week with lots of rain and below zero temperatures at night. It is called Frost Saints or Ice Saints. All weeklong cold days and ice-cold nights but with a weather forecast which tells us that next week temperatures will rise back to twenties again.

It is amazing how money flows now. Be it for cyclists, digital development, technical equipment at schools, or singly communities – Corona benefit is planned or already paid out. I stopped wondering where all that money is coming from, but I guess we all must pay it back with tax money sooner or later. My bike is still in the bike room in the basement. Broken tire. So far, I had no time or the money to fix it. I also have some Skates I dug out last week and got cleaned. But to be honest, I rather use my Rollerblades than the Skates. Four small wheels in a square under your shoes are much better than four wheels in a line from heel to toes.

The deadline for some of my review copies kind of forced me to turn off my TV and to put in some reading hours to get everything done last minute. Well, it didn´t quite work the way I had planned it or wanted it to work. Due to some very unpleasant issues but I am confident that by the end of this Sunday, I will have finished the novel I am currently reading.

The past week has taught me a bitter lesson. A very bitter one. I now have another person I can´t trust anymore and who showed me that having the face of an angel doesn´t mean that that person is trustworthy or has a nice tongue. The opposite is more likely. And I still refuse to let them make me a victim or an evil person (depends on which side you´re on). No chance ladies!

Now, where I recap my week, I can say that after all, my week was a pleasant one. The arrival of the three books made me very happy. My wish list is now three books shorter and my TBR grew three books *lol*

How was your week? I hope you are all safe and well. Take care.

Happy reading

  3. Yikes it's been cold here too (has rained and been miserable all day today) and just in general all week it's been cooler. Hopefully the warm up is soon. And good luck with the reading! Hope your review copies are going well. :)

  6. It sucks when someone disappoints or betrays you, I'm sorry to hear you had to deal with that this week.

I'm ignoring the magic money trees the governments seem to have grown out of nowhere to support the "virus relief efforts"... As you say, we'll get taxed for it eventually!

    Enjoy your new books. :)
