As the public face of Vows wedding planning company, Parker Brown has an uncanny knack for fulfilling every bride’s vision. She just can’t see where her own life is headed. Mechanic Malcom Kavanaugh loves figuring out how things work, and Parker Brown—with her endless legs—is no exception. But as a good friend of Parker’s brother, he knows that moving from minor flirtation to major hook-up is a serious step. No man has rattled Parker in a long time, but the motorcycle-riding, raven-haired Mal seems to have a knack for it. His passionate kisses always catch her off guard, much like her growing feelings for him. Parker’s business risks have always paid off, but now she’ll have to take the chance of a lifetime with her heart…
Story
Parker is a strong-willed and absolutely well-organized woman from a rich family. But that doesn´t stop her from running the extremely thriving Vows wedding agency with her best friends. Just stupid that Emma, Laurel, and Mac have found their perfect male counterparts and are now practically in their own wedding frenzy. Parker meets the unconventional and devilishly attractive Mal – and her world is upside down. He is not predictable, and he just smiles at her many lists and statistics. He knows exactly what he wants, and he takes it – regardless of others or something. For Parker, it would be an absolute nightmare if it weren´t for these passionate nights …

Style
Spiced up with wonderful scenes, incredible dialogues, and a handful of great characters, Nora Roberts also wonderfully succeeded in this volume in creating a beautiful plot for the last still unattached from the bridal quartet. Her writing style is humorous to deliciously ironic and extremely refined on paper. The reader participates in a very lively way in the thoughts and feelings of Parker and Mal, which inevitably creates a kind of tension in the reader as to whether and how this love story will end. You can clearly see that Nora Roberts knows and understands the male species like no other. What the men in this book say about themselves, how they give themselves, and what they do so that they don´t go under with the four friends is remarkable and has caused me to burst into laughter more than once. Parker´s counterpart Mal in particular brings a special kick to the plot. Compared to the other three volumes, this one contains particularly attractive testosterone and Nora Roberts has successfully balance the girls´ talks.

Characters
Quick-witted, funny, unconventional to conservative, and highly successful – these are the characters who, together with a wonderful plot, make this volume extremely successful. Parker, the fourth in the group of the successful wedding agency Vows, grew up from a good family and with endless money in the background. Regardless of whether you have to screw up Mac´s mother Linda on an insidious tour or calm a bride, who is almost rotating in panic, in the middle of the night – she always does it with style and sensitivity required for the situation. Only her closest friends know that she often thinks something completely different in her mind. I enjoyed myself in many situations because of her organized manner, also when speaking. Parker is simply an original.

Mal takes what he wants when he wants it and where he wants it. He doesn´t really care about other people´s opinions. Still, he has incredible charm and looks – mmmh! His passion for engines doesn´t stop at the most incredible motorcycles. The way he makes Parker get on these hated machines is one of the best scenes in the book, I think, aside from his performance in the broom closet, where Parker gets to know another side of him.

Conclusion
A wonderfully successful conclusion to a beautiful series. A German magazine called “Für Sie” described this novel as „a wonderful hymn to female friendships” and I can only wholeheartedly agree with it. This book is a novel full of lively and refreshing moments, wonderful laughing moments, and a varied plot. Relaxed and entertaining entertainment is guaranteed here. Really recommendable.

Happy reading
