With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it.  And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #135

Sunday Post #92

At the start of the week, I went to the library for some books and got the news that by mid-December they will move from their current location to the new building and get a new name. One I don´t like but who cares. I am not sure at the moment if I will stay a library member or cancel my card. They will change a lot and so far, I am not happy with those changes.

With the rain-sun-cloud mix we had during the past week it was a bit of a gamble to find the right time to do some yard work. And when on Wednesday one of my garden bags broke and I had its content all over the place, the decision was made. I bought a composter. It was on sale and stands now in the backyard.

On Saturday I wrote my sign-up post for the HoHoHo Read-a-thon. If you wanna join in you can do so here. I downloaded some covers and other things I need for my blog. After that I went into the garden to dig out a part of the hedge, I wanted to get rid of for weeks now. After three hours I had it out and a big hole in the garden. We have very clayey soil in the backyard. And when that soil is wet and you have to walk around while digging out stuff, the soil becomes smooth as silk.

How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.

Happy reading

  1. I don't have a library card anymore (I haven't in a long time) because they don't have any books in English, and I really don't enjoy reading translated books if I know the original language...
Congrats on your composter! I hope it will help you keep your yard nice and neat, and also that you'll be able to use it to make your plants grow better.
Have a wonderful week ahead, stay safe and healthy :)

    1. I can only get German books at my library, which is ok. I agree with you. I prefer to read a book in the original language if I am able to do that. It reads different. Have a wonderful week ahead too and thank you for your visit.

    1. I can´t imagine life without the library, too. It seems that my library keeps the rule that they only get new releases if enough kids, teenagers or adults (depending on the genre) ask for it or it is an absolute bestseller. To name one of them...

  4. I hope you enjoy your composter! We are in early days for using ours. We also are digging the clay soil and rocks. I am just glad we have really good weather to finish up these projects before winter. Have a lovely week Vi!

  6. Oh no I'm sorry to hear that about the library. That's frustrating. We have a somewhat subpar branch here too, well it was until they redid it I guess it's better now, but we used to go to to a bigger one farther away or we couldn't get any books!

I'm looking forward to the HoHoHo readathon too.
