With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*
I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.
Stacking The Shelves #142
I received The Rosewood Chronicles Princess At Heart this week and say thank you to Fischer KJB for the wonderful mail. The cover is from the German edition.

Sunday Post #99
The past week we had our first snow of the season. The snow came overnight and stopped my yard work for the moment. But I was able to plant my last bulbs and now all I have left to do is some cleaning. It is unbelievable but some people do believe that our garden is their personal bin and throw their used coffee cups, tissues, masks, and other things just over the fence.
I wrote some new reviews, published some, and did some other blogging stuff and got the feeling that I´ve accomplished at least something. Am I the only one who thinks she is running out of time with reading and reviewing new books? I have six books I need to finish before the 31st and have no clue how to manage that with household (still looks as if I am either moving out or not finished with moving in), garden, and the Christmas preparation. My dad and stepmom are hoping that we three can be together on Christmas eve and that I don´t have to go into quarantine the week before *fingers crossed*
Nikolaus Day this year is a grey and sometimes loud one. I lit my second candle on my Advents plate and did some research to find me a new spade and some other garden tools without having to pay a fortune. I promised my neighbor to give back her spade by the end of December and that isn´t that far away anymore. If the weather changes next week as the weather forecast is telling us, I might be able to get two more roots out and get the soil even and covered up before I call it finished for this year.
How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.
Happy reading

Oh you guys have Nikolaus Day too? We call it Sinterklaas but it's saint Nicolaus of course :P
ReplyDeleteYep, we have Nikolaus Day too *smile*
DeleteI have two German long-time BFFs and I'm always jealous of their Advent / Nikolaus Day celebrations and gifts.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry people are throwing trash into your garden! That's so rude.
I hope you get to be with your dad and stepmom on Christmas Eve and that you don't have to quarantine.
While I lived in the US the kids had so much fun when I asked them to put one of their boots outside the door and they found it filled and with a chocolate Nikolaus the next morning.
DeleteWe are still waiting for the snow here but happy Saint Nicolas Vi!
ReplyDeleteSnow is gone but we had a happy Nikolaus Day indeed.
DeleteI can't believe people are throwing their garbage (masks and handkerchieves !!!) in your garden, how rude and selfish !! I hope you'll have your family Christmas, take care :)
ReplyDeleteI guess they did it because the garden was a wilderness before I took care of it. But you are so right. It is rude.
DeleteI have to say I am glad to be finished with the yard stuff now it's freezing at night. I do have to cover some plants some nights and there may be some more leaves to rake. But everything else will be next year. I need to read several books a day if I was going to finish all I want to read but obviously that is not happening.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart
There are only two roots and the stump left that need to be taken out. My neighbor will help me get them out and the rest I will do in Spring. Depends on how much time I have this week. Well, the books I am overdue with are review copies. So, I HAVE to read & review them before the 31st December...
DeleteOh my gosh seriously about the trash? That's terrible! And this year does feel like it's coming to a close very quickly. Good luck with getting through your reads!
ReplyDeleteI want to get an advent calendar, we always had them growing up and I loved them. I miss those...
Good luck for Christmas Eve!!!!
Sadly, I am serious about the trash... It is amazing what kind of advent calendar you can buy nowadays.
DeleteI absolutely feel like I’m going to run out of time,I have 14 books I need to finish before the 31st, and already have 7 lined up for January!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on finishing your garden tasks
Wishing you a great reading week
