With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Tynga´s Reviews and Caffeinated Reviewer and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Sunday Post #113

Today is Easter Sunday with gorgeous weather. The sun is shining down from an incredibly blue sky and it is freezing cold. A stark contrast. This year Easter is again, different from what I am used to at this time of year.

I am at home, in quarantine. My test was positive – I have Covid. Not sure, which virus exactly it is that makes me feel so sick and miserable, the lab is still working on that answer, and I for sure have no clue where I got it, but for the first time in days, I am able to sit straight again and to write a few lines.

Ten days ago, I started to feel unwell and overnight my conditions deteriorated significantly. I went from feeling good and not sick at all to growing pains, headache, nausea, dry coughing, and the feeling an elephant was sitting on my chest within a few hours. I was a sobbing misery. And only able to crawl on all four from my bed to the bathroom and back at times. I´ve never experienced anything like this in my whole life before and hopefully never will again.

For my parents, my positive result was a shock. As it was for me. I am the first one in the family who suffers so much because of this virus. The others had only mild or no symptoms at all despite being positive and at home for two weeks. So, wish me luck that I can fight this at home and never will see an ICU from inside…

How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.

Happy reading

  2. You have my profound sympathy, Vi! We spent two weeks of hell battling with covid and Himself missed going to hospital by a whisker. Do keep drinking the water - keeping hydrated is vital. Even if your stomach is griping. Sending you lots of positive energy and elbow hugs - and wishing you better!
