With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Caffeinated Reviewer and Reading Reality and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #186

I had a new book in the mail.

Sunday Post #143

The past week was mostly uneventful, concerning my private life. Our Covid numbers are going up again and unfortunately, it seems that those, who will build our new government at some point in the future, are not willing to see the reality. Germany does, what it does best. Discussing things to death.

I was at home most of the week. Thursday and Friday I went out for walks, and it was like being on a different planet with all the fog we had during those two days. You could barely see ten meters. It was ghostly.

On Thursday I also had a new book in the mail. La beauté du ciel by Sarah Biasini. In English, you could say “The beauty of the sky”. It is a small hardcover, only a bit over 180 pages, and I already finished it. The reading round itself where I will discuss it with some others will go on a bit longer, I guess *smile*

Well, Friday, Saturday, and today I was up very early. Not because I wanted to but because my body apparently thinks that I don´t need any sleep. Ugh! I finished two other novels, wrote some new reviews, and now, I have a lot of new content for my blog but no energy to edit it. *sigh*

How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.

Happy reading

  3. I'm so upset at the whole situation with COVID. There are still a lot of people who refuse to take the vaccine and it's just making things worse. Let's hope that next year is better.

    Here’s my Sunday Post!

  4. Sorry to hear about the Covid numbers. they're kinda bad here too. And I love when it gets foggy. So spooky and surreal. :)

Glad you got some books in and hope you have a nice week. :)

  5. I love foggy days!!!! They're pretty rare here in Arkansas.

It is so annoying when I have the opportunity to sleep but I wake up at my normal time or, even worse, early!!!

Hope you get your energy back soon!

  6. We are also experiencing growing numbers in my region after being Covid free for 18 months. The first case in August has now risen to 337, mainly among children under 16 too young to be vaxxed and the remaining handful of anti vax.
Wishing you a great reading week and better sleep
