With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Caffeinated Reviewer and Reading Reality and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #211

No new book.

Sunday Post #168

Last Sunday I went through the usual routine. I visited some blogs, created new blogging content, and took care of my seeding project.

Now, a week later, I notice that I am not all too happy with it. The oregano is doing well, and my garden lupin is also growing. Both make me very happy. But the rest isn´t doing very well. The seedlings seem very weak if they grow at all, and I am not sure if I did something wrong while taking care of them or if something else is the reason.

Well, guess it means that I better go and buy some of the herbs at the garden center (which I originally had intended to avoid due to the high prices) if I want those brown bold spots in the garden filled. Speaking of which. I didn´t do anything in the garden this week. Wasn´t in the mood. Instead, I read, wrote some reviews, cleaned up my household, created new logos, downloaded some covers, and pre-ordered a book at the library.

Saturday, I went into town to take care of some things. After my bank visit, I walked across the place to the library building and brought back some books, and borrowed a new one. All in all, I was in and out within ten minutes. I wished the lady at the counter a nice weekend and went to the supermarket to buy my weekend food. Back home I enjoyed a hot espresso and made plans for the rest of the day. In the early afternoon, I started some new reviews by getting all the book data and back text into the frame I use for my reviews. Later in the afternoon I finished some reviews, read a few more pages, and went to bed early. I was worn to a frazzle.

Today, Sunday, I woke up early. Again. One of my neighbors’ kids was jumping up and down and that vibrates through the entire house. Ugh! The weather has become very cold. If I wouldn´t know that we are still in May, you could think we are in April. One minute sunshine, the next it is cloudy and rainy. I took care of my electricity account online, and now I hope that the bill won´t be too high.

How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.

Happy reading

    1. Well, I had success planting seeds in the past, but that was in another house. Here it seems that my kitchen isn´t the right place for such a project *sigh*

  2. Oregano sounds nice. I like using that. I hope the rest of your gardening goes well. And being woken by jumping kids! Ugh!!

Hope your weekend is a nice one.

    1. My plan was, to use the herbs to keep some bugs away from some other plants. And to give another area in the garden a nice look. Well, I guess that´ll have to wait until next year *sigh*

  3. I think seeds are tricky too. I've done well using them for snow peas but not much else. I usually buy little herb plants at the farmer's market and they've done very well. If you want green all the time with no bare spots, plant mint and it will take over everything and never die. lol. I had to move it to a pot so it didn't kill everything else.

    1. Yes, mint is invasive *lol* But thank you for your advice anyway. I will see if I can find some herbs at the garden center. The logistical chain is still interrupted and it is kind of a gamble if a plant or product is available at the shop or not *sigh*
