With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Caffeinated Reviewer and Reading Reality and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #224

No new books this week.

Sunday Post #181

The past week was a mixed one. On Monday I went to the supermarket in the morning. After that, I was busy for over three hours repairing the blank spots on the lawn. But the actual fun started in the evening when my TV receiver stopped working. I tried to report the problem, no chance. Result: an evening and night without any TV or radio. Yeah!

Around three on Tuesday morning I heard that it was raining. Yay! The plop noise the rain makes when hitting the roof sounded like music to me. During the morning the TV came back on. At least for a few hours.

It took another day, Wednesday, before everything worked again the way it was supposed to. While waiting, I started reading a new book, took care of my household, and went for a walk before I watered the new lawn in the evening.

During the night from Wednesday to Thursday, it rained again. On Thursday, I didn´t do much. The weather was a mix of sun, dark clouds, and wind.

Friday is the same. On Saturday I talked with my stepmom because she had decided to stay at home for her birthday on Sunday. A last-minute change of my plans was necessary. I wrote texts and edited pictures until three in the morning went to bed and got four hours of sleep before the neighbor below woke me up with his loud voice at seven. Very short night. I am too old for shit like that. Grrr…

Today, Sunday, I spent many hours talking with my dad. We talked about certain things, and it was wonderful to see that he was with his thoughts and head, as I call it, here. He knew what day it was, and whom he was talking with, and we were even able to talk about some legal stuff he needs to do as soon as possible. And I met my stepmom´s first great-granddaughter for the first time. What a cutie she already is with her nine months. I took some pictures while the family was having coffee and cake. Later I took some selfies together with my stepmom. We don´t have any pictures where only the two of us are visible, so I thought it was about time to change that. Later in the evening, my step-uncle took some more pictures of the two of us, and then my father joined us for another picture. Somehow, the time has become even more precious these days. I was back home by nine o´clock and uploaded the pictures into my cloud. But now I am too tired and exhausted to edit them too, so that will have to wait until next week.

How was your week? Stay safe and healthy.

Happy reading
