With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Caffeinated Reviewer and Reading Reality and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #248

No new book.

Sunday Post #205

I´ve been paralyzed for the past week. The plan, to google some nursing homes, write them on a sheet of paper and then start calling them for a room for my dad – didn´t happen. I went every day for a long walk or run, started mowing the lawn in the backyard for the first time this year, and ripped out the wild grass that started to annoy me. For the past three years, I ripped that dang wild grass out in masses, where does the new come from? And I noticed that a lot of green ivory leaves are covering the lawn and every spot available in the yard. WTF?

The red tulips around the lilac are in full bloom – looks gorgeous. Unfortunately, I can´t upload the pictures I took last week. I will show them as soon as I figure out what the problem is. But not today.

According to officials, the inflation has slowed down. We are under 8 percent now. But for me, that´s still too much. I buy now mostly veggies and fruits which are on sale and bio products are off the list now at least for the moment.

Today, Sunday, I slept most of the day. The weather was grey, but without the predicted storm and heavy rains, so it was a quiet Sunday. I watched a bit TV but don´t ask me what. I have no clue. I chopped a cucumber and a kohlrabi and had that for a late lunch.

How was your week? Stay safe and healthy

Happy reading

  1. It's hard. I'm going through a similar thing- my mom is okay to live alone most of the time but she has iffy days too, and it's hard knowing exactly what she needs going forward. Not the same situation I know, but sending you lots of supportive vibes, Be easy with yourself. :)

  2. Sometimes we just need time to think things through before taking action. I hope this week is a better one.
