is a weekly event that was originally hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This meme is a place that spotlights upcoming releases that we´re eagerly anticipating with pure joy. There are a lot of new books coming out each year and some of them catch my attention and will get a spotlight in my Waiting on Wednesday post. While some of them will finally end up here at my place, others won´t. I am joining Tressa at Wishful Endings and her meme Can´t-Wait Wednesday.

This week, I am presenting the German edition of The Oracle Queen. Unfortunately, the German publisher isn´t publishing them in the correct order. The second e-novella was released a few weeks before this one, which is, the actual first e-novella. At least that´s the info I´ve got. Correct me, if I am wrong. Anyway, I am not complaining and am simply waiting until I have every book before I start reading them in the correct order. Not sure if this one will be worth my time. I read so many different reactions about it; from bad to highly excited. So, I am very curious to find out how I will find it. I enjoyed reading the hardcover books so much, and now I am to find out if this is any different.

Triplet queens born on the island of Fennbirn can be many things: Elementals. Poisoners. Naturalists. If an oracle queen is born, however, one with the gift of sight, she´s immediately drowned, extinguishing her chance at ever taking the throne. But that´s not how it always was. This cautionary practice started long ago, with Queen Elsabet – the legendary, and last, oracle queen – whose reign was tinged with blood and horror. Paranoid, ruthless, and utterly mad, Elsabet´s mistrust led to the senseless slaying of three entire houses of innocent people. At least, that´s the unchallenged tale carried down from generation to generation. But what really happened? The queen who, though born with the gift of sight, could not foresee her swift and sudden fall from power … until it was too late.

    1. Thank you. I love the series too. Thinking about getting the original books as well. Like to see how an author sounds in its original language - English in this case *smile*

  2. Seems like an interesting book. Hope you enjoy it! I've read in other books that sometimes people who can see the future can't see it for themselves, only others. Wondering if that's what's going on here. My WoW
