Waiting On Wednesday #99 – Eisgrab by Mads Peder Nordbo


is a weekly event that was originally hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine. This meme is a place that spotlights upcoming releases that we´re eagerly anticipating with pure joy.

There are a lot of new books coming out each year and some of them catch my attention and will get a spotlight in my Waiting on Wednesday post. While some of them will finally end up here at my place, others won´t. I am joining Tressa at Wishful Endings and her meme Can´t-Wait Wednesday.

In the US this thriller will be published “Cold Fear”. The original title is Kold Angst. For me, it is a book I am waiting for with high expectations. The first one, The Girl Without Skin, was so fantastic, that I am wondering how the author will top it. Will he be able AT ALL to top it? To be honest, I hope so. Reading a good thriller is a great way to spend your time with. And when it is combined with a man who struggles to get his life back on track, it is even greater. What I like about Mads Peder Nordbo is the way how he puts his scenes and settings into words. No matter how bloody and cruel the scene or setting is. His words sound like a melody and have an elegance that is not often used by authors in that genre.
