Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. This week´s topic was submitted by Elley the Book Otter and is all about dynamic duos in literature.

This list contains some characters I call the perfect bad boy. As it turns out, most of them were perfect for this topic as well. So, here we go with my list.

1-Bennett Ryan & Chloe Mills from Beautiful Bastard by Christina Lauren
He is and always will be the ultimate bad boy boyfriend a girl could possibly dream of. I call him sex on two legs. No matter what others think, he doesn´t care about rules or what society sees as appropriate. And with Chloe, he found the perfect match. She is not willing to go as he pleases or to do things the way he wants and yet she can´t resist him.

2-Cameron Quinn & Anna Spinelli from Sea Swept by Nora Roberts
Cameron is pure sex. Speed is his passion, but despite that, he has the heart in the right place. He knows what he wants and how to get it. But he also is there when his family, first and foremost his father calls him to take care of the youngest of the four Quinn brothers. And with Anna, he fights a special fight. He wants her in his bed and life, but Anna plays by her own rules. Rules, Cameron isn´t very fond of.

3-Simon Doyle & Fiona Bristow from The Search by Nora Roberts
He and his dog Jaws took my heart by storm. He is as masculine as you can imagine. Knows to get what he wants when he wants it and how he wants it. And he needs only two words to make Fiona fall for him completely. And Fiona has a unique way to get him where she wants him. She is the perfect trainer for Jaws and the woman Simon needs above all else the most.

4-Rhysand & Feyre from A Court Of Mist And Fury by Sarah J. Maas
I love his bad-boy image the High Lord of the Night Court shows the world. He is a dark and masculine figure who understands to hide his sensitive side perfectly. He helps Feyre when she needs it the most but still knows how to pull the right strings to make her feel everything, she doesn´t want to feel. They might not be lovers but the passion between them is a good creation of hate, need, and fascination.

5-Kal & Aurora from Aurora Burning by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff
Kal fights the bad inside him, the evil that thirsts for blood. He has found with Aurora the one true love. Bonded with her in a way Aurora never thought would be possible. And still, there is a secret surrounding him. One, Aurora is not sure if she ever wants to know.

6-Jace & Clary from City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare
His dark, grim way caught me from the first moment. He seems to be one mystery but when you get to know him a bit, you can see that he is full of emotions. And his love for Clary is as strong as a rock.

7-Leo Maxwell & Roxie Callahan from Nuts by Alice Clayton
Gosh, how he sees the world, and how he reacts when Roxie freaks out under the walnut tree – priceless. He is masculine as heck and knows what women want. A man with a golden heart.

8-Edward & Bella from Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Yes, I know it is pure cliché, but he was one of my first fictional crushes. He is dark, sensitive and despite all his power and great looks as vulnerable as one can get when it comes to Bella. Okay, for some, Bella is not the most dynamic girl, I get it. She is too controlled, too distanced when it comes to living in a small town. But she is exactly what Edward needs and the other way around.

9-Cat & Bones from Halfway To The Grave by Jeaniene Frost
I LOVE how Cat interacts with Bones. How she, the Night Huntress shows the vampire where things stop.

10-David & Juli from Heart of Glass by Kathrin Lange
David is a charismatic and very handsome young man. He knows pain and loss as much as grief and despair. His dark mood makes him so incredibly irresistible and sexy. And Juli is like any other girl. She wants, what she can´t have.

And what Duo´s are on your list?

Happy reading
