With the Weekly Book Wrap-Up, I give you a bit of an insight into all the new books that have arrived at my place. No matter if I won a giveaway, got approved for a reviewer´s copy, an ARC, or just bought one myself. Everything that I add to my shelves, in what way ever and read during the past week or am still reading, I will write about it. And maybe I tell you a bit about the upcoming things on Inkvotary, that is if I don´t forget it and have something to share with you *smile*

I am linking up with Caffeinated Reviewer and Reading Reality and hope you´ll have fun reading it and maybe get the one or the other book inspiration.

Stacking The Shelves #250

No new book.

Sunday Post #207

Easter Monday was what a call a black day. I slept long and for the rest of the day, I took care of my household. On Tuesday, I went to the supermarket for some fresh food and drinks and later, went into the garden and took out the new bed edging and bark mulch in the front of the house.

I went early to bed that day and am wondering if it is because of the April weather or if it is just my body reacting to the garden work.

Wednesday, I felt kind of weird. I tried to read a few pages, with no success on that front, cleaned the rest of my household, and went again to the supermarket for some milk and other things.

Nowadays it isn´t quite easy to get what you want. Most shelves are either empty or filled with things I don´t want to buy. Feels as if the old GDR times (German Democratic Republic) has become alive again.

On Thursday, I went into the garden again, to clean out the rest of the ivy and put it into the organic bag. I filled two of those bags and the garden looks at least a bit tidier now.

Saturday was another black day. I felt restless and tried to get rid of that feeling with one long walk and another walk to the supermarket. Today, Sunday (White Sunday, to be precise) I was up early and finally able to sit down and do some blog-related stuff.

And how was your week?

Happy reading

  1. I love your pics of the tulips - such brave pops of colour when so much is still looking drab and wintery! And I know what you mean about empty shelves - we've got the same issue here in the UK, particularly fresh fruit, veg and eggs... Sorry about your black days - I hope you feel more multi-coloured soon.

    1. It is a real joy to see the tulips from my bedroom window or when I am enjoying my balcony.

  2. Some days are just like that. You're doing better with your garden than I am though! I have so much to do now that everything is popping out!

  3. Sorry about the dark days. The photos you took are lovely. Some stuff we enjoyed before Covid never came back to the shelves. Hope this week is a good one for you.

  5. Beautiful photos of your garden flowers! I know it is often difficult to find things at the market. I end up going multiple places or online and still sometimes can't find things. I hope this week is more sunny and spring flowers for you!
