Since I am up very early – way too early for New Years Day for my taste (aren´t we supposed to sleep in after a night of celebrating and saying goodbye to the old and hello to the New Year?)! Guess, my head thinks different.

Okay, after I spend yesterday over my reading list and went over all the data, I can say that I read, reviewed and posted here fifty-three (in numbers 53) reviews for this challenge. Some of them are German new releases, which I told so in a note right underneath those reviews, others were original new releases that came out in the US/UK.

Somewhere along the way in this New Release Challenge I found out that I had bought way more original books than ever before, that I had, therefore, spent way more money than ever before - not to mention that I hadn´t planned on doing this -, spending so much money for books I mean and that I had a really great time being part of this challenge.

And when I found out this morning that this post was required to do the final and last step in this challenge – and I was awake anyway – I thought I share with you which books I read for this challenge. Or better said: which book reviews I posted on my blog ´cause they are the only ones that count for this challenge. Yes, I could also put my reviews on Goodreads and link that up to Lexxie at (un)Conventional Bookviews, who is hosting this fun challenge together with Stormi at Books.Movies. Reviews! Oh My! - both were doing a great job by the way so thanks a lot to you girls for hosting this!

But since I have to obey to some rules I can´t ignore, I only counted and used the reviews I posted here on my blog.

So here we go. A list of the books I read & reviewed for the 2016 New Release Challenge. And since I didn´t use a separate list right from the beginning to keep track of the books for this challenge, they are not in the order I really read and posted them.

  1. WOW, you did really well, Vi! Congratulations! It is hard to keep to the books we read in the year, and that we review on the blog in the same year... I'm glad you've enjoyed it, and that you're participating again this year.
